Meet the Team
William Hall
William Hall has presented at numerous events for many large companies and has extensive experience in attracting an audience, engaging them and presenting business messages. Because he is adept at reading and interacting with an audience, he’s the perfect choice as Host.
William is a communications consultant and instructional designer. He teaches at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He teaches Design Thinking to educators and corporations with the Lime Design Group which was formed from the Stanford d.School.
William founded one of the largest improvisational theaters in America — BATS Improv Theatre and Training Center in San Francisco. He continues to perform and teach at BATS. His book of improviation games remains a “must have” book for performers and teachers around the world.

He has developed and delivered agility and creativity workshops for numerous corporations worldwide, including Kaiser, Salesforce, Disneyland, Google, Bank of America, Shell and Charles Schwab.
Martin Ganapoler
He has worked with marketing teams and tradeshow coordinators to focus the message and win leads. He has worked on the exhibit floor for many companies including, HP, McAfee, Oracle, PASCO, and Sandisk.
He consults and develops communication and leadership training for companies around the world including, Kaiser, Cisco, HP Inc. and State Fund.
In San Francisco he is very active (treasurer and board member) with the Blue Water Foundation, a non-profit organization that takes at-risk youth sailing.
As an actor, Martin has appeared in feature films and in a reoccurring role on the television series “Trauma.”

Mary Dilts
Mary Dilts has worked in the Bay Area and globally as a spokesperson, trainer, producer and professional actor. She has represented Fortune 500 companies as well as high-tech startups in all forms of media. Her extensive list of clients includes Hewlett Packard, Cisco Systems, Apple Computer, Intel, Genentech and NASA.
As an actor, Mary has appeared in numerous films, TV dramas and commercials. She has also hosted travel, cooking and QVC shows. Her work as a voiceover actress includes narration and voicemail systems to video games and text-to-speech systems.
Mary recently launched BRAVE Speak (a program for vocal development in business), and currently directs audiobook recordings for Silicon Valley authors.

Ben Johnson
Ben Johnson has performed as a professional actor, improviser, and physical comedian in over ninety cities across the United States and in ten countries around the world. His performing credits include work for the American Conservatory Theater, BATS Improv, Cirque du Soleil, and many others.
Ben earned his master’s degree in teaching from Brown University. He has over fifteen years of experience working as an educator and trainer in a variety of contexts, including the facilitation of workshops for business professionals and professional development for schools, districts, and other educational organizations.

Throughout, he brings the principles of improvisation to bear on the key challenges facing 21st-century organizations: collaboration, innovation, and adaptation.
Calvin Kai Ku
As a performer of many talents, Calvin has entertained audiences in all varieties of shows all over the world from International Festivals to 4,000 seat theaters, and even private events. He continues to impress people all over the world with his charismatic, comedic presence. Using both magic and circus, Calvin Kai Ku consistently creates unique and memorable performances.

Jason Kyle
Jason Kyle is an Actor, Comedian, Presenter, Voice Over Artist and Improviser. He's been the lead in two feature films, as well as countless short films, commercials, industrials and theater productions.
He is one of the Voices for Toyota, and the lead Actor in the "Day in the Life" series for Samsung's Bixby. He's shared the stage with Michael Dell in DELL's global summit, and starred in a campaign with Brandon Crawford for the San Francisco Giants.
Prior to becoming a performer, Jason was a Management Consultant, Financial Analyst and Peace Corps Volunteer. He's traveled to 50+ counties and has lived abroad for five years of his life. This experience, mixed with his current career in performing, allows him to engage any audience about any topic in any location.
Carla Hatley
Carla Hatley as General Partner and Producer oversees and coordinates the business of Fratelli Bologna. Supporting our clients and team to create events that engage and communicate with audiences. She developed a community partnership with the San Francisco Library to support adult literacy through workshops and book club readings. And, she established The Budding Artist Scholarship for the BATS Youth Summer Program to give more children an opportunity to experience the benefits of Improv.
As an actor, writer and producer, her collaboration with other actor/writers lead to showcasing new work, including the SF Fringe, winning Best of Fringe. As a member of SAG/AFTRA she has appeared in industrials, commercials and films.
A passion for working with children began during college as a co-director of a summer camp for special needs children. After moving to San Francisco to pursue acting, she worked in K-8 classrooms using Improv and drama to enhance the Language Arts curriculum.
For six years she was the Bay Area Program Coordinator for Screen Actors Guild Foundation BookPALS developing read aloud programs in underserved elementary schools, family shelters, Fairyland and the Juvenile Justice System. She now volunteers in SFUSD classrooms, encouraging children to find their authentic voice through literacy and theatre.
Tom Greensmith
Tom Greensmith is a writer/editor/creative director who specializes in conversational English. While he has written annual reports and sales/marketing copy for Fortune 200 companies, he is best known for projects that are "heard" and not "read." These include executive speeches, trade show presentations and industrial theater. He especially enjoys writing material that is light in tone and can veer into the area of corporate comedy when required. Tom has also written two children's books: Franky Flys Away From Home and The Dragonfly Sisters Go To Town.
